We are getting married
Saturday 21 November 2026 Paramaribo
Counting down
#GiorgioEnArni
We met in Paramaribo, on an evening neither of us had really planned to go out. One conversation turned into a whole evening, and that evening turned into everything that followed.
The years since have been ordinary and remarkable at once: work, family, long drives into the interior, and several hundred evenings at the same kitchen table. Somewhere along the way it became obvious.
Now we would like to celebrate it with the people who brought us here — whether you live in Paramaribo or are crossing half a continent to join us.

Practical
Many of our guests are travelling from the Netherlands and around the region. Here is everything you need to make the trip an easy one.
Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport (PBM) is around 45 km south of Paramaribo — allow an hour by road. There are direct flights from Amsterdam of roughly nine hours.
Most visitors need a tourist card or e-visa. Arrange it online well before you fly, and check that your passport is valid for at least six more months.
Taxis are easiest to arrange through your hotel or over WhatsApp; agree the fare before you set off. A shuttle runs between the church and the reception for guests without their own transport.
November is warm and humid, around 30 °C, with a chance of a short afternoon shower. Light fabrics are your friend.
Where the photo session and the farewell brunch happen. Easiest if you would rather not drive.
Next door to Royal Torarica, a little gentler on the wallet, with a large pool.
Small and personal, in the centre of town. Good if you are staying on a while.
From afar
The church ceremony is streamed live for everyone who cannot be there in person. The broadcast starts fifteen minutes beforehand.
The broadcast has not started yet.

Having you there is the greatest gift — especially for those of you making a long journey.
If you would still like to give something, we are saving towards our first home. An envelope on the day is perfectly normal, and the details below are for anyone who would rather transfer.
